From architecture to lamp posts, Merrick was sure to make every single detail spectacular. He was proud of the city he built and his commercial district that had businesses within two-blocks of each other. Coral Gables was a haven for incredible homes, great businesses and even better people. It was a city made of dreams.
In the 1950's Miracle Mile made its grand debut. By the 1960's, it was a booming with business and home to many Latin American and Caribbean companies.
